LG Optimus 3D, the first three dimensional phone.

LG Optimus 3D, is the first 3D capable phone. It has a 4.3" LCD capacitive touchscreen with 480x800 pixels of resolution, with a glasses-free 3D parallax barrier screen technology.

The two 5MP cameras on the back of the phone record stereoscopic 3D video at HD resolution, which will probably need some getting used to if you are hoping to get the most out of it, but LG announced partnership with the YouTube 3D channel, which places a dedicated app on the LG Optimus 3D to upload and share the 3D content you have captured with the phone easily.

The chipset that makes the stereoscopic imaging possible is the dual-core 1GHz OMAP4 from Texas Instruments.

How to disable Unity and go back to the classic interface in Ubuntu 11.04 'Natty Narwhal'

This is an easy guide that explain how to go back to the classic interface in Ubuntu 11.04 ‘Natty Narwhal’ rather than the new one called Unity.
It’s actually pretty simple to choose between Unity and the classic UI.
  1. Log out of Ubuntu 11.04
  2. At the log on screen select the user you want to log in as
  3. At the bottom of the screen you’ll notice a task bar appear -  this allows you to switch between different modes
  4. Select Ubuntu Classic
  5. Log in as normal
  6. If you want Unity back, repeat the steps but instead choose Ubuntu

Incoming Jfbchat 0.2.1!

Hello everybody, good news for you.

The new version of Jfbchat (0.2.1) should be released the next weekend with some important improvements.

Jfbchat is a small, simple and powerful application specially designed to offer you a Facebook chat client.

The client supports Facebook profile photos and audio notifications for incoming messages, useful if you do not want to open the browser to chat with your friends.

Jfbchat 0.2.1 will be more stable and faster due of many bugfixs and code improvement.

The problem with the collapse/uncollapse button was fixed, some contacts disappear after that this one was pressed.

Many other improvements were done on the graphical interface in order to make the usage more intuitive.
We recommend to update Jfbchat as soon as the application is released.

Best regards,
Digitex
